Press brake machine quote coordination

Press Brake Sourcing coordinates comparable factory quotations for a press brake machine. Buyers keep ownership of drawings, destination and acceptance language. Factories confirm feasibility, included tooling and exclusions. This desk aligns those replies; it does not operate a bending plant or act as a brand-appointed reseller. Assumptions that stay silent—die opening, punch geometry, sheet support, installation and training—make totals look comparable when they are not.

Supplier shortlist

Supplier shortlist
Decision pointEvidence or question
Supplier shortlist: Design input Collect the same design pack for every factory: material grade and tensile strength, thickness, bend lengths, inside radii, finished drawing, complete bend sequence, preferred die opening and punch geometry, CNC or hydraulic control preference, three-phase supply, footprint, quantity and destination. If a press brake tonnage calculator was used internally, attach the inputs—not a screenshot of a result—as a screening note. Ask which tooling, installation, shipping, training and commissioning items will be included or excluded. See why tooling and sheet support belong in the project budget.
Supplier answer Each factory should name the ram drive, control, backgauge axes, crowning method and the punch/die set intended for the first part. They should show how localized tool load and off-center bending are checked against machine and tool ratings, and whether sheet followers or front supports are in the quoted pack. Empty-ram demonstrations do not prove those items exist.
Open deviation Flag replies that omit die opening, mix hydraulic and CNC hydraulic envelopes without stating the difference, or bury installation, training and spare parts as buyer-side work. Keep stamping-press or unrelated forming equipment out of the shortlist unless the buyer added those lines. This site does not publish a ranked OEM list or claim that any factory has already been audited.
