Press Brake Sourcing

Press Brake Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. We collect and compare factory quotations for press brake equipment. We do not manufacture machines, stock finished units, or act as a brand-appointed reseller. Buyer responsibilities on this page cover the design inputs and acceptance decisions that stay with the equipment owner even when a coordinator writes the RFQ.

Buyer responsibilities

Press Brake Sourcing coordinates quotation comparison. Factories remain responsible for stating feasibility against the submitted duty. Buyers remain responsible for drawings, destination, utilities and the contract that names FAT, SAT and spare parts. No founding year, plant capacity or customer count is published because those assets are not in site configuration.
  1. Buyer responsibilities: Design input

The buyer supplies material grade and tensile strength, thickness, bend lengths, inside radii, finished drawing revision and the complete bend sequence. Name die-opening preference if known, punch geometry constraints, CNC versus hydraulic preference, three-phase supply, footprint, quantity and destination. If a screening tonnage number exists, record the inputs that produced it. Without those inputs, factories cannot confirm localized tool load or off-center bending limits. Bend-sequence RFQ notes explain why a single 90-degree trial is not enough.

  2. Supplier answer

The buyer should require a written answer that names ram drive, control, backgauge axes, crowning, included punch/die, sheet support and which installation, training and commissioning items sit outside the machine line. Certificates, if any, belong to a named supplier and product; they are not credentials of this website. This desk can flag missing lines; it cannot invent a factory audit.

  3. Open deviation

The buyer decides whether an open deviation—different die opening, missing front supports, or SAT on a simpler part—is acceptable. Press Brake Sourcing will not close those gaps with a percentage saving or a verbal “it will be fine.” If the project is a single machine versus an integrated bending cell with robots, that boundary belongs in the RFQ, not in a later change order.
